In February of 2011 I decided to leave my job as a student advocate at a non-profit organization in Harlem to start my own non-profit organization in Brooklyn. My vision was to design a program where I could create future leaders, advocate, role models, success stories, and entrepreneurs. I knew attempting to do this was going to be a huge risk, with no financial security and no financial backing but I believe the cause to support vulnerable youth in a very underserved community was my calling. Below I will highlight a few of the tremendous highs and lows I have experienced in the four years since I started this organization.
