18 Nov Donshea Speaks
Reminding students that hard work and dedication helps them reach their dreams, Donshea Hopkins wowed the student audience at the inaugural #TLNYCLeaderTalk on Friday, November 17, 2017.
Hosted at I.S. 219 in East New York, Donshea fielded questions about her motivations, passions, career, and personal mantra from host J.U Jones. Soon after, Donshea performed two musical hits and took selfies with the students.
Born in Brooklyn, Donshea has been acting since the age of 4 and has been seen on various shows including, but not limited to, Power, Law and Order SVU, and Sesame Street.
“I am truly thankful that Donshea came, motivated, and performed for our students,” said TLNYC Founder Oluwatoyin Ayanfodun. “I think that it is truly important for students to see representation of themselves everywhere.”
